Emmeline Pankhurst

-Date of death: She died on 14 june 1928.
-Place of death: She dies in London.
-Main occupation: She is an English political activist and leader of the British suffragette movement , which help women won the right to vote.
-Main interest: She was introduce at the age of 8 to the women´s suffrage movement. In 1878 she married with Richard Pankhurst. She have ten children.
-Reasons for being a historical fugure: Because she get that women can vote and she being the suffragist movement. She is one of the 100 most important people of thw 20th century.
-Other aspects: After the husband died in 1898 , she founded the women´s social and political union. She died ini 1928 and she was commemorated two years later with a statue in Victoria Tower Garden in London.

GARIBALDI



In the conference, I had questions for Garibaldi.

One question was, what your full name is, and He said that her name was Giuseppe Garibaldi.

Too He said that he was born the 4th July 1800 Nece, Italy (today in France).

I asked when he died and if he would died in the same place that he born and he told me that he wasn’t died in the same place, because he died in Caprera (Italy) in 2 June 1887.

Next I asked if he would get any occupation, he said that he was an Italian soldier and politician, and the main interests were the same.

He told me that the group that he led was called the red shirts, and the last question was, why he was a historical figure, and He said that he is very important because he unified Italy and was a National hero.

I think that you can vote Garibaldi because he fought for the unification of Italy and this is very important.

Main interests: Marx thougth that if a place that works and together runs wage-labor, then there would always by class struggle. He thought that this class struggle would result in workers taking power.
Reasons for being a historical figure: He was a historical figure
because he was creatre the marxism, a set of political and economic ideas.
Other aspects: He had to move to London because the goverment didn't like his ideas.
His sentence to call for votes: The dictatorship of the proletariat is the best way to do away with social classes.

Israel: Israeli strikes hit Gaza killing two Hamas militants

In Gaza the Israeli airstrikes with a Palestinian rocket attacked to a Israeli school bus. The Israeli military said it had killed two militants from the Islamist group Hamas. An Israeli cabinet minister said that the strikes would continue. The strikes hit the town of Khan Yunis and danger this town.

MIGRANTS FLEE MISRATA TO SEEK MEDICAL TREATMENT

In Libya, African and Asian migrants have to flee the fighting.
Nearly 1.200 people boarded in the boat and many of them needed medice treatment.

Among wars and conflicts that take place at all over the world, I had chosen Libya´s conflict, where is taking place a social conflict created by the Libyan rebels, exactly in Brega.
The main aim of this conflict is to get back the oil city of east Brega, so they are moving out to people who are pro-Gadafi.

Book Day

During the week before easter holidays the school celebrated Book Day. All the students at the school visited our new library, which had really interesting exhibitions. One of them was an exhibition of some important books in the lives of the students in this class. Another was the noticeboard full of nice slogans to foster and promote reading, both in English and French.
